Stress Reduction Programs
What is it?
- Eight two-hour weekly classes that ground you in a Medical Qigong practice called "Lift Qi Up And Pour Qi Down".
- A commitment to 100 consecutive days of practicing the form.
- A workbook that helps you to understand and use the principles of mind-body medicine.
- A CD that guides you through the form and its visualizations.
- Support for keeping your healthy intentions going, long after the Program ends.
What is Qigong?
- Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is a simple and profound meditative movement form that increases your vitality, calms your emotional system, and enhances your immune functions. You can't always reduce the stress in your life, but your Qigong can help to dramatically change your response to stress.
Who should attend?
- People at all levels of ability and fitness are welcome. No prior experience is necessary, only a desire to be healthier and happier.
When and where is class held?
- Tuesdays, 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
- The Marino Center, 2500 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge.
- A new class begins approximately every eight weeks.

How much does the Program cost?
$250, which includes the workbook and Qigong CD.
