Primary Care
At the Marino Center, we strive to provide the best possible primary care medicine. For patients, this means establishing a strong relationship with one’s primary care physician (PCP); an emphasis on prevention, including immunizations and routine screening for cancer and heart disease; reasonable availability for appointments, and adequate time in appointments to address all issues.
Perhaps most important, our primary care physicians look at the whole person. They view the role of diet, exercise, stress, lifestyle and supplements in keeping you healthy. Because of the interconnectedness of all our practitioners, our primary care doctors can make referrals to our other practitioners with the knowledge that they are referring you the very best in complementary treatment. And with our advanced electronic medical records, your PCP can coordinate care with other practitioners you see at the Center.
Our PCPs prescribe medications as necessary, and have access to excellent specialists and hospitals for more serious illnesses. Through the Marino Center’s Patient Service Center, we offer email contact for appointments and other communication.
